Weasel will become famous soon enough
Ok, my uvula is now swollen/taking up most of my throat... Blue bell dutch chocolate it is!

And I wish there were shows like Chappelles show and Always Sunny on right now. The only show I know of that comes on for hours a day still is Family Guy... not that there's anything wrong with that.

I don't think that they know about Blue Bell north of the Mason Dixon or west of Texas. It gets no better.

I need to have the same surgery.

Speedy recovery.

I'll start.

Hey Weasel, what's the real deal with lifetime fluids and is BMW incapable of making window regulators and cooling system components that last or is it all a money making scheme?

Oh even I can answer that... diplomatically.. See, window regulators fail because of the extremely heavy and strong door of BMW's, since they are so heavy, they shut hard and sh*t loosens

Yeah, I would beleive that if my front regulators failed first, but my back went first. On top of that, the rear doors get shut much less frequently and they are not necessarily heavy by any means.

Too many late nights on Bourbon St. has caught up to you . Hope recovery is good. New Orleans--everybody needs to visit there---great character and history (outside of the normal activities that go on ie The French Quarter).

funny coincidence- i've been debating getting my tonsils out for the past couple years now ...... keep putting it off as the symptoms only hit me every couple months or so. Generally, they're definitely enlarged, but not to the point of impeding my breathing or swallowing or anything. The symptoms I DO get a lot of are sore throats and discharge from the tonsils sometimes. Really annoying but i just don't feel like doing the surgery.

btw, i'm 30 now ....... I know i should get them done sooner rather than later. How many days does it take until you feel good as new?

I had the surgery last Wednesday, and the first couple days were rough... mainly due to the fack that I didn't eat/drink enough to settle my stomach acids which caused vomiting 3 times over 2 days. Not that bad overall.

The doctor recommended 2 weeks from work but I only took 1.5 weeks, which I am only 1/2 way done with now. If I had a light duty job I could have gone back in today, just kept myself hydrated and grazed all day as big meals are a no go right now thanks to the healing throat.

I thought the pain would have been worse than it is, I stayed on the recommended dosage of pain killers the day of and next day, but felt worse from the pain killers than without them. I just take 1/2 dose when I wake up to help until my throat loosens up from sleeping, and maybe right before I go to sleep. But otherwise it isn't that bad after just a few days. I can eat just about anything, just in small bites.

But it is supposed to be worse the older you are, so if you need it done the sooner the better... And I would suggest taking the needed vacation time from work, you will need it. But the more active I stay the better I feel, if I just lay on the couch with the pain meds I feel like crap. I might go weld up a new tailgate for my trailer today just to go work outside! (or make another rebar fleur di lis )
