I will agree with you as far as the rules go. I don't understand Aussie Rules one bit. NFL is what I understand.

Even I don't understand Australian Rules 100%! Here in Australia we have four major codes of footy, Aussie Rules (played more in the south of the country, rugby union, rugby league (both played more in the north of the country, and soccer (increasingly played everywhere). Where I come from the rugby codes are by far the most popular (lots of crossover support) and anyone who follows Aussie Rules is, shall I say, frowned upon.
