Get a seat when you want. When you take a bus, and you want to sit down. It sucks getting on a bus and not seeing an open seat. The older you are, the faster someone will be willing to give up their seat.

Three words: Senior citizens discount. You must be thinking of old people who get cheap stuff . They spend their whole life saving up their money, and for some reason; all of a sudden, their stuff is cheaper when they retire.

Then there’s the observation Booth: Just watching people who think
they know it all make a fool of themselves. You don’t have to be
senile to know when that’s happening.

I want to walk with a cane. Two kinds of people have canes: old people and pimps, and as far as I'm concerned, they're both equally awesome.
(To bad though I don’t own a cane. I have a gym membership instead.)

Don't Mess With Old People

An old prospector shuffled into town leading an old tired mule. The old man headed straight for the only saloon in town to clear his parched throat.

He walked up to the saloon and tied his old mule to the hitch rail. As he stood there brushing some of the dust from his face and clothes, a young gunslinger stepped out of the saloon with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other. The young gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, ‘Hey old man, have you ever danced?’

The old man looked up at the gunslinger and said, ‘No, I never did dance, — just never wanted to.’

A crowd had gathered quickly and the gunslinger grinned and said, ‘Well, you old fool, you’re gonna’ dance now,’ and started shooting at the old man’s feet. The old prospector, in order to not get a toe blown off or his boots perforated, was soon hopping around like a flea on a hot skillet and everybody was laughing.

When the last bullet had been fired the young gunslinger, still laughing, holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the saloon. The old man turned to his pack mule, pulled out a double barreled shotgun, and cocked both hammers back. The loud, audible double clicks carried clearly through the desert air. The crowd stopped laughing immediately. The young gunslinger heard the sounds, too, and he turned around very slowly. The quiet was almost deafening. The crowd watched as the young gunman stared at the old timer and the large gaping holes of those twin barrels. He found it hard to swallow. The barrels of the shotgun never wavered in the old man’s hands.

The old man said, ‘Son, did you ever kiss a mule’s ass?’

The boy bully swallowed hard and said, ‘No. But I’ve always wanted to.’

There are two lessons for us all:
1. Don’t waste ammunition.
2. Don’t mess with old people.

On other subject what is the security issue with leaving the GPS on?
Is it any different from On Star and other services tracking your movement?

no security issue other than your knowing your location - just like OnStar and every other cell phone.

There is an issue with face time though - it isn't well secured (so make sure your network is) and whenever 2 people start using it Apple is notified of who and their location - according to an "insider source"

What they do with that info is anyone's guess - my guess is for market research but who knows.

Its everyones business since its a public forum....just because you started a topic doesnt mean you own it. Generally, I thought it was stupid that it got deleted since you didnt like the path it was taking.

Sure, some people dont like me here....big deal! Its the god damn internet, not my life. Sure, maybe you care about a webpage full of people that you may never meet, but I dont. My true friends have my number or are over at my house, not only knowing me by my screen name or IM address.
