No, maybe a gravel driveway or two over the years. It is my wifes car and she is not hard on it at all. All fluids changed when due, OEM parts, dealer serviced for nearly all of those repairs, garaged, no snow, etc.

Just wait - not enough miles yet. I hit about 120K and everything fell apart. Started doing some routine maintenance and then everything needed replacing, including the tranny.

I have a family member who has around 250k on his Cherokee sport. He has a Grand Cherokee as well, but that one has been more problematic.

I agree it's a great looking SUV, I'd love to get the HEMI model, however, I've had three GCs in the past, the second one turned out to be a lemon. The other two were great without any issues. Would I take another chance on a GC? I most likely would!

My X5 is getting old, and unfortunately the X5 reliability is not getting any better, so maybe a GC is in my future, even though I'm a die-hard BMW enthusiast and owner. We'll see how the dice roll in about a year from now.

Not bad.... Those ASM Supercharged JGCSRT-8's are a force to be reckoned with, but for the cost, it would be nearing the X5M price territory without a warranty.

I like the looks of the Jeep better but I would think that the Ford is a better truck.
