2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee...

Anyone else like it? I like the proportions and think it looks pretty good overall.

Someone in my building at school just got one. I like the tech it offers, but the back end looks really... odd.

Jeeps are kind of disposable. Everyone I know, including my parents have never gotten more than 135k out of one before it died. Good car though while its new.

I know it is not a BMW, but I still think it looks nice for an American SUV. Pretty muscular, imo.

I have a family member who has around 250k on his Cherokee sport. He has a Grand Cherokee as well, but that one has been more problematic.

I neither like it nor hate it. I kinda have to say that a loaded cherokee, as in the pics is not far off from the gx that everyone was hating on Except its american and has less cache and is probably less reliable. Either way its better looking than the predecessor. Wonder if they will bring back the srt 8?

The GX looks oversized, unathletic, and like it is on stilts compared to the Cherokee, imo. All I was saying is that the Cherokee looks good to me. I wouldn't buy one. It doesn't look any better than my e53, imo, but it is not bad for what it is. I have only owned one non-BMW in my life and that was only for a few weeks. It was quickly sold and replaced with a Bimmer.

Actually, I was being nice with regard to the GX. It looks like an old roller skate. Not only are the wheels too skinny and don't fill up the wells, they aren't pushed forward and back enough to really look right. In other words, the wheelbase is not long enough to really suit the body, imo.

Having just seen about a dozen BMW X1's here in London, I'm seriously looking forward to its US launch.

And Jeeps suck.
