Sorry Stan but this ain't about Obama in the least and I couldn't disagree with you more. All the credit goes to the intelligence personnel, especially those working in hostile areas, and the brave troops who went knocking on Osama's front door.

It is great news but killing is not something to celebrate. Yes it is justice but it will not bring back all the dead people killed for no reason.

Bin Laden purposely kill over 3,000 Americans civilians, in addtion civilian though out the world have been killed as a result of the war. We have also lost military personnel serving the country and fighting for freedom.

Please let this act mark the end of all mankind killing each other.

If one wants to talk about dropping the ball we need look no further than Billy Clinton.

Further, Obama can take credit for authorizing the operation but again, full credit goes to the operators who took Osama out. It's the same way I can take credit for my wife slaving for hours to make an elaborate dinner for 10 guests because I invited them.
I agree 100%

Obama focused our efforts on Afghanistan and I think is a major factor related to getting Bin Laden.

That's like saying he looked in the freezer after not finding anything to eat in the fridge. Just saying that looking in Afghanistan wasn't a stroke of genius considering Osama fought there against the Russians. Besides, he was found in Pakistan.

That raises another point. We can't trust the Pakistani government. They HAD to know Osama was there all along and protected him.

Stop arguing who or what...The current administration did well to focus more on Pakistan. US can take credit as a whole, because we pushed and pushed and it finally paid off.

This is a great step to 'open' Pakistan even more now that we caught the f***** hiding there...after all this denying by their intelligence and other authority figures.

Now violence will probably go up...but then again this fight is never over...

Hearing that Bin Laden was buried at sea reminded me of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” When Megatron’s mangled body was dropped into the abyss. I just hope there is no sequel to this story.

That's not funny. There will be people who question whether he's really dead or hanging out with Elvis. Even with photos of his corpse already floating around, that will not be enough proof that he's dead. I've seen a photo purporting to be Osama with a gunshot to the head. I've heard it is a fake so I'm sure that other so-called proof will be scrutinized.

So, you are probably correct.
