We live up a ~4 mile, 12+ min chug from the 'main road'. up our steep, windy mtn road to our Mtn Joint...
I have the local UPS driver 'trained'/tipped well enough that he will leave anything for us, signing our 'name' if necessary, eg for wine deliveries, tech stuff, etc. Otoh, the local FedEx guy will not leave any Sig Req'd delivery, if V or I are not here to sign for it. Here in HillbillyHeaven, the FedEx guy is a 'franchise' type guy with a route, as opposed to the UPS drivers that are employed by UPS, fwiw. I'm with the rest: get outta bed and answer the door, esp if you had a must sign delivery that day.  GL, mD
