Wow Krimson...Totally partisan, out of context and missing a lot of information in order to make her look bad.
Here is an example and there is too much wrong with that hit piece to waste my time debunking that trash you call proof. For instance your source would make you believe she is ONLY in favor of Abstinence discussed in sex education classes. Palin Supports Abstinence-Only Policies. In 2006, the Eagle Forum Alaska asked Palin whether she would “support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education.” Palin replied, “Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support.” Yet here is an article from the Conservative LA Times (Joke) which is critical of her position but it IS a position that was made more clear by Palin. She is in favor of birth control as part of a sex education curriculum. Palin's position and I quote: "I'm pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues," she said during a debate in Juneau. Such statements could raise concerns among social conservatives who have been some of Palin's most enthusiastic supporters since she was tapped for the No. 2 spot on the GOP ticket last week. http://www.latimes.com/news/politics...,3119305.story You're losing credibility X |

Do you know what her positions are on those issues? If you do, I'd like to know. I'm just doing a little reasearch trying to find out what her positions are. I didn't ask you to debunk it. There is nothing to debunk. |

Question!
Did she or did she not say any of those things? And did she do what we all do? Flip Flop?

My advice...If you want an objective picture stay away from the dailyKos and Huffington post. Unless if makes you feel good hearing what you want to hear. |

There were three (3) references from Huffington post in the entire list and those referenced direct quotes from Gov. Palin. The article contaned ZERO (0) references from Daily Kos. Try again.

Just to lighten it up a bit, not sure if anyone saw Bill Maher this past Friday.
But I do know that you all saw the "COUNTRY FIRST" signs that everyone was holding at the Republican convention. Except for the 18-year old Levi, the hockey player who knocked up 17-year-old Bristol. He was holding a sign that said "COUNTRY FIRST, CONDOMS SECOND". |

Sort of a side note, but she is about as "pro-life" as it gets right?
I have talked to two females about Palin. One was my 30 year old wife and the other was a 60 year old family friend. Both seem a little put off by Palin's views on abortion. Both of them feel really strongly that it should be a choice of the mother. Especially if she is a teenager, etc. Also, my wife has never had one and never would, but feels really strongly that it should be the woman's choice if performed early enough in the pregnancy. Even though I am for McCain, I have to agree with my wife on this issue. I hope Palin's strong pro-life views do not push away too many female voters. Last edited by FSETH; 09-08-2008 at 04:12 PM. |
