The least he could have done is to spend some time chatting before leaving, maybe 5 minutes would have been nice but, what do I know. |

good thread indeed. Few Comments:
Middle-Class: The discussion of middle class is being shaped around the annual income of that group simply because the follow up discussion is going to be income taxes. The 250K annual income is an arbitrary number that the Obama camp came up with. Above 250K seems like a lot of money, but trust me it is not!! And it definitely does not make you wealthy. In my opinion your status as being wealthy or middle class depends on your answer to following question: Can you live and maintain you current life style if you were to lose your job? If the answer is no, then you are middle class. If the answer is yes, then you are wealthy. If the answer is “I don’t have a job” You are either a wealthy person or bum! Wealth is not defined by annual income; it is defined by net worth. Net worth is difficult to use in income tax legislation, the next best thing is annual income. Debate observations: - “That one”: It was strange and weird, I agree, but it is not a main stream media issue. The voters need to evaluate for themselves. I for one thought that it was an old man slip! - “You may have never heard of Freddie or Fanny”: Could be viewed as a comment with a racial underlining. I think it was as simple as McCain trying to go of script and ending up in a bad spot. Just like when he told Tom that he would not be his Treasury Secretary pick. Another point: Give this Black man credit, he is in the debate hall asking direct questions about the economy to the candidates, how could he at this point not have heard of these mortgage giants?? - Not staying post-debate: It was obvious he was not comfortable and wanted to get the hell out. Hey TN is as red as it gets. Obama was not working the room he was working the TV cameras!! He is smart, there is no denying that!! - I heard that the potential first ladies did not even shake hands…. Didn’t see it, but heard it! |

! Anyway I'm shocked that you had never heard of them especially living in the DC area. But Michelle to be honest you are one in million as far as the un-awarness that you dispaly sometimes. No pun intended!
