1) As I said, VP is very limited in power. 2) Torture has been a valuable asset in limited usage. Continuation of paragraph is only your left-leaning opinion. 3) Very weak excuse for an economic "whiz" and other gov't employees screwing up their taxes. If you work, you can expect that you will have taxes. There is no way to get so confused on "codes" that you think you don't owe anything. H&R Block will do your taxes and guarantee their work + pay any fees/fines if they screw up. Scott PS-The T-shirt is not really a "personal attack." |

I don't like Palin. I don't know why some people support her, but as Thunder said, there are just as many idiot democrats that are still supported by their fellow dems. It goes both ways for sure. I am not a hard core conservative. I am for gay marriage, care about the environment, believe in God, but rarely go to church or preach to others, am pro-choice and so on. I am probably way more in the center than you, I just don't happen to like Obama and you seem to want to lump everyone with that opinion into the far right catagory as Palin/Bush lovers. I also don't think the t-shirt was a personal attack on you by any means.

Oh, Im just very curious: Why is it that you seem to be very obsessed with Sarah Palin?
Why do you care if the Rep party would make her the Pres candidate for 2012? You're not a Republican, or are you? Are you afraid that if the Rep party does choose her that she would win in 2012? Personally I dont think she will win, so no need to be afraid. So u can sleep soundly tonight buddy. |

She's no longer in office, and as far as I've read, she's not being considered for any other office. What she is doing is promoting her book, which I highly doubt is being financed or supported by the RNC. So where are you getting the idea that the GOP is officially supporting her? A minority few Republicans who like her does not mean that the majority does.

And since you don't like the current president, who would be your ideal candidate to be president. I know it's hard but it can't be a comic figure like Captain America or bringing Reagan back from the dead for a third term. ![]()

It's more than just a few GOP's that like her and the "silent" minority that doesn't is not doing anything to distance themselves from her either.

I like Newt, but again people would be saying he's about to die.
I like Mitt, but a Mormon has little chance at the presidency. I like what I've seen of Jindhal (sp?), but would have to learn more about him. I need to study more about Eric Cantor as well. Heck, that guy from Louisiana who is the lone Republican to vote for the bill last week (though I definately don't want it) seems like a good guy. (Making a decision for the people he represents, not who lines his pockets or is worried about his party-mates not talking to him at lunch.) Scott PS-check this out! |
