They really expect everyone to ignore things like this...

Climategate email says -
One e-mail allegedly sent by the head of the CRU, Professor Phil Jones, refers to using "Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years ... to hide the decline."

Today, head of IPCC says -
Rajendra Pachauri, the Chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) told CNN

"There are so many checks and balances in the processes and procedures that we follow at the IPCC, there is not one iota of possibility that something like this would happen," he said.
He added he would not hesitate in using the unit's information in any future IPCC reports."Well why not, if they are qualified in professional terms I certainly would," Pachauri said. "I don't see any reason why they should be excluded. The fact is that their actions, their contributions have been totally above board. And they've been completely objective in what they've carried out. So I don't have any reason whatsoever to leave them out if there's a requirement and they qualify," he added.

---------

It's like they have complete contempt for anyone who even thinks differently. Very reassuring - let's let these people dictate to our Gov't (who will eat it up) how much to tax ourselves.

Hear the BS for yourself - Climate chief dismisses e-mail outrage - CNN.com

Some very interesting arts. in Tuesday's WSJ, imo. I realize WSJ is not the MotherEarthCatalog, (esp. post Murdoch/NewsCorp), but well written stuff.
If anyone is interested and does not have access, I'll paste/link the arts.

amidst the panic , one fact seems to be overlooked - the sun is getting hotter and will eventually destroy the earth .
the man made catastrophe does not really exist , the consensus being that we may be , repeat that , may be contributing to temperature increase with greenhouse gases . I think science could be clutching at straws trying to postpone the inevitable .
the forecast ice age of the 1970`s was reckoned to be caused by pollution so we fitted catalytic converters to motors but at least ones eyes don`t sting in heavy traffic as much . cleaning up emissions is necessary in any event .
why don`t you capture a load of co2 and pump it under Centralia Pennsylvania to extinguish the coal mine fire . cool the oceans by heat transfer compression , blah blah blah .

And exactly how much recorded weather data are we using to make all the assumptions on

I must say Wagner, I would like to have the time to dig for info , reports , whatever satisfies your appetite for hard data . the things I say may seem a bit half assed at face value but have been stated by those in the know . not my assumptions in the first case .

Global warming due to humans is a bunch of bullshit. Nothing more than scare tactics by the liberals trying to justify their agenda and garner votes. Simple as that.

Very simple, do some research on GE and their ties to administrations, EPA and their future "green" goals. It's all about the dollar, nothing about the environment. The environment is simply a platform like schools, drugs, health care...nothing more. But with the environment, even though the majority disagrees with the path, the "masses" are suppose to not question it. Similar to the PC non-sense in the USA.
