There is absolutely nothing in the quotes you posted that Obama is in any way in violation of. You may want to think so, but the facts do not support it.

You guys seem to be so afraid of ACORN - the latest right-wing boogyman. Why? All they do is register voters and provide community support. Do you also hate the conservative churches and other organizations that support their communities and rally votes (legally or illegally - if so, where are the protests - I don't see any)? Or are you just blind hypocrites who like to make noise over nothing to try to provoke the non-thinkers to rally to your cause?

Edit:

Oh, BTW, If Obama did want to donate his money to ACRON, what of it? Is that too illegal? Immoral? Untoward? Or is it just another thing t5hat YOU personally don't like, and therefore something else to bitch and moan about?

So because someone was able to film some people doing something wrong, the whole organization is wrong?

If this is your yardstick, then you'd better resign from the republican party, resign from your race, and resign from this planet because in any organization, you will find some dumbasses doing something they shouldn't.

Tell me which organization on this planet has completely clean hands?

Well, what about embezzlement of 1+ million dollars by the brother of ACORN'S founder, cover up of that embezzlement, phony voter registration issues, the whole scandal video posted above, major issues with the D.C. and Baltimore offices and so on??? That is enough for me not to like them or want any of my tax dollars funding their projects.

What was the voter registration scandal? What exactly did ACORN do that was illegal? How much actual fraud is there vs. all the BS charges?

Are you also so firmly against all the Republican Groups accused of voter fraud?

Does it matter to you that the RNC has been accused of so much voter supression?

ACORN workers have been convicted of submitting false voter registration forms. In some cases thousands of forms. This is not the same or as serious as voting fraud, but it still shows the character of the group from the top to the bottom with fraud and embezzlement from the founder all the way down to the worker bees.

Here is another great thing about ACORN.

Sometimes the group's tactics are confrontational, veering into civil disobedience. For instance, in the late 1980s, ACORN activists in a number of cities, including Chicago, seized abandoned houses and encouraged "squatting" by homeless people, in an attempt to force local governments to salvage abandoned properties and convert them into low-income housing. The targets of ACORN's protests sometimes describe the activists as intractable or even aggressive.

Of course I would be upset if Republicans were doing this. If this is a group that you feel is worthy of your support or our Presidents, then I am baffled.

People on both sides have been acused. People on both sides have been convicted.

As for seizing abandoned properties; again, I don't see what the beef is. The property was abandoned, deteriorating, not benefiting anyone, so people squatted.

And BTW, squatting is not in and of itself illegal.

Again, my point is that ACORN does not support republican positions, so people try to demonize them by making all these claims tha they are immoral, criminal, and taking federal money. All that other BS that can be said of replublican organizations too. But somehow it is worse because ACORN does it.
