There's a vote of no confidence in Trump's leadership in many American's mind.

I'm one of them.

Which makes it very hard to take stock in anything he says or do.

I would just move on and wait for the next president to hopefully restore our confidence in the leadership.

Stuart Stevens, a longtime GOP campaign strategist came out with a new book " It Was All a Lie: How the Republican Party Became Donald Trump."

That was the hearing where Sally Yates said that Comey went rogue and that Flynn prosecution was based on Comey's use of false information to open the investigation in the first place.

I'm not sure where the question of if I agree with Trump's statement is from since the link originally showed to the hearing. Try Cspan on YouTube if it's been changed.

Also remember that Yates was and is not from Trump's administration, so pretty telling when you get to see the actual hearing.

Problem with the use of Tweeter, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, etc as a political platform is the inability for proper vetting of information.

Normally whenever something happens in the world, credible media companies send out investigative journalists to properly identify the source of the event, the validity of the claims, etc.

After careful information gathering, the results are then reported back to the public for consumption.

Nowadays, most people get their news through social media. And social media influencers commands the eyes and ears of their followers.

So anyone with enough followers can theretically push his/her own agenda by twisting the facts of a particular event to suit his/her needs.

That's the real danger of today's digital information. There's plenty of sources, plenty of news, but very little fact checking and vetting of said news.

Trump's rise through Tweeter is a glaring example of what could happen when somebody with an agenda of his own can manipulate the masses effortlessly by a few stroke of the keypads on his smartphone.

That's why I posted a link to CBS news although I can go back and find the cspan link. Hopefully the video link is still showing the hearing and not just soundbites.

One who then admitted in the court martial that Eddie didn't kill the prisoner.
k

So what, he was convicted in military court and sentenced..... But that was just 'youngsters not dealing with dark humor'? The officers that made up the military court that convicted him just couldnt deal with dark humor??? Sure bub. Sure

(I'll note that he wasnt convicted of killing the prisoner, was he? Not sure why you bring that up, but I know you know there is more to that part of the story, eh?)

Your ideas on how the DOJ should work are pretty limited. Since Flynn wasnt charged for some things, we are supposed to pretend the entire universe of his transgressions are the single lie he pled to? lol There is a reason the American system is based on the integrity of prosecutors to charge and prosecute. Saying you want to second guess that entire process with Cspan clips and media reports is either laughably naive or purposefully manipulative.

And while I do have a hatred of Trump, which is based on what he has done to my country (yours too), I also have a hatred of xenophobic right wing anti-american whack jobs. III%, boogaloo, Q anon ....and scammers and grifters who are using the Trump administration to scam citizens of their money and lives. (I assume youve stocked up on a a supply of Zpacks and Hydroxy? Got your food supplements from Alex Jones? And your My Pillow too? And you're cool with the NRA illegally spending millions of members money on lining their personal pockets?)

I guess, as they say, we can agree to disagree.

Taking a picture with a DMF'r sooo sad.

https://www.navytimes.com/news/your-...dead-detainee/

Eddie Gallagher.... They tried like hell to nail his ass because of the attitude of a couple of snowflakes WHO LIED and then could only convict him of taking a picture with a dead terrorist!

General Flynn....
It's very fucked up that you don't even realize that your exact same type of attitude was what caused a miscarriage of justice to be perpetrated against Flynn. Now to your 100% dumbass comment that "Flynn wasn't charged for some things, we are supposed to pretend the entire universe of his transgressions are the single lie he pled to?"

Where to start?

First, is the US Government charges the fuck out of people and then try to get a plea and most (95%) do.

Second, In America (the country you supposedly love) everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and if someone isn't charged with a crime they don't have defend themselves against uncharged accusations. Which I am sure you're happy about or else, everyone would be angry that you haven't been charged for having sex with horses. Luckily accusations don't matter, only criminal charges.

https://www.theepochtimes.com/sidney...e_3406464.html

Now as for me...

I have been in the Middle East continuously since 2008 so Zpacks, Hydroxy, etc really isn't anything I worry about having. I am more concerned with not being killed by some haji and making sure that people who want to harm Americans are dealt with outside of America. Now obviously you don't understand shit about this part of the world (or America) and you are operating solely on emotions and a gender studies degree, but if you feel that Trump and his supporters should be "dealt with" I suggest you step up and pull that trigger yourself instead of destroying everyone's Constitutional Rights in the pursuit of fucking people over who don't think, look or vote like you.

It is interesting that you list III% as a group of whack jobs, racists or whatever SJW phrase you want to use. The III% is a group that supports the Constitutional Rights of all regardless of party and are willing to die to Support and Defend the Constitution against ALL enemies both foreign and domestic (basically anyone who wants to destroy people's Rights )

I will admit that I am fairly uncomfortable arguing with you, but that's just due to you coming across as a morally bankrupt, unintelligent blowhard who should be wary of poking his eyes out with a fork while eating.

I think we should focus on the coming election and who is going to win.

Post office is run by a Trump supporter now. And the success or failure of mail in ballot is going to have a major impact on the outcome of the election.

I’m really uncomfortable that Trump is trying very hard to influence the operation of the post office to his own benefit.

I despise that everything is politicized now. The post office should be there as a service to Americans. Frankly, I'm not sure how they aren't making money. Trump's crony removing processing machines makes no sense to me as it would seem to go against his reasoning for doing so. To cut costs. Those machines are sunk investment and, I'd imagine, that they actually serve to lower costs when it comes to processing. But I don't have actual numbers or info in front of me either.

Nepotism is a large part in how the world operates. At every level. I don't blame Trump for appointing supporters. I do blame him for appointing people who have no experience in the field they were appointed. THAT is my problem with his appointees and cabinet. Not that he hires friends, family, supporters, etc. If they knew what they were doing... by all means.

I am disappointed with Biden's VP pick, but I don't think it will hurt him too much. The upcoming months are going to be a sh*t show though.
