If Romney paid less in taxes it's bc he found a loophole in the system or just followed the rules. So wouldn't you pay less taxes if you could?

Of course. Anybody in their right mind would. Both of these guys are filthy rich and neither is paying more in taxes than they have to, so I don't really understand why anyone would want to see either's tax records. Seems silly.

Gee, those are the same things I have to show when starting a new job, including my passport and agree to a full background check, get fingerprinted, and allow them to check my credit history... and yet, the POTUS doesn't. Go figure.

Because the accusation is (in part) that he used unlawful methods to achieve his low rate.

If he did do it lawfully, I would not oppose him doing whatever he wants... However, I do think that he should not be entitled to pay such a low rate on such large amounts.

Have not heard of such a statement before. Am i missing something? Hope you have evidence to back up your claim. Why should'n he? No law has been broken as far as we know.

Yes on both counts Mr. Prosecutor. Why don't you do a little seach for "Mitt Romney Fraudulent Tax Returns" and see what pops up.

Here, I will start you off with one... But the next one will cost a bit.

That may be the accusation from some, but I am pretty sure he is on record saying he had (closed in 2010) a Swiss bank account and also had some money invested in the Cayman Islands. However, he states all accounts were disclosed to the IRS and so far the Gov't/IRS hasn't accused him of doing anything illegal, so I don't see what the big deal is?

Also, I think I read that he it taxed at a higher rate than 97% of Americans, that he made a 14% contribution to charity and so on. I also think most of his income was actually on investments, which is taxed at a different rate.

The big deal is that some think his taxes are fishy ans want to take a look.
