The shaming of Zelensky was 100% on him for his attitude against the administration and by bringing up topics that should have stayed behind closed doors and if you were honest (I said WERE) you'd see that even Zelenskys foreign minister about loses her shit why Z started his attitude. In case you forgot the US has provided approximately 75% of all aid to Ukraine and for Z to show up and be a dick doesn't fly. You wouldn't go to a loan officer and flap your cock-holster like that when trying to get a loan and you damn sure wouldn't put someone with a powerful position on the spot in public since they'd have to slap you down for no ther reason than if they didn't they'd weaken their position/authority.

I'm sure you failed to see that both Trump and Vance cornered him, attacked him verbally, and insisted that Zelensky agree to give Russia the land that they're occupying, sign over mining rights, and agree that the us will not provide protection to Ukraine if it gets into another conflict.

Real diplomacy is done behind closed doors. The talk Trump's delegates had with Putin's people right before the Zelensky meeting was done without any press present, no one knew what was discussed.

The televised meeting? Rishi Sunak on BBC called "Trump's treatment of Zelensky "wrong". New York Times Opinion calls the meeting "Disgraceful display in the Oval Office." NBC news says " Trump-Zelenskyy clash marks a defining turn away from U.S. defense of democracies" LA Times Letters to the Editor: "Trump’s shameful, dictator-emboldening treatment of Zelensky"

For someone who wants Trump to succeed even though you dislike him, you sure are parroting lies that undermine his administration and refuse to acknowledge that he's done quite a bit to put America back on track.
Examples... Canada had tariffs on US goods, dairy, poultry, automobiles and parts before yet you didn't know that or that Canada authorized strengthening their border almost 10 years ago yet didn't get around to it until our tariff war started.

Mexico was the same but with the addition of them helping people from all other countries get through their border as fast as possible so the illegals weren't a burden on their country or that every president of Mexico has ties or support from a cartel.

If you are going to tell me 25% tariff on Canadian and Mexican goods is going to be a good idea for the US economy in the long run, I think you are probably one of the very few in this world who feels that way.

That Zelensky is about to start his 6th year of a 5 year presidency, shutdown the rival political party, arrested them and took over completely radio and television stations that supported the opposition party (who also don't want Russia in Ukraine) declared martial law, banned elections for president, parliament and judiciary posts.

Zelensky is a war time president. Shutting down rival political party and arresting media outlets are war time strategies to consolidate power and reduce opposing media influence from Russia, I'm sure you know this. No need to bring this up as a negative either.

His extended term is due to the ongoing war. America did the same when we were in WWII, so don't bring this up as a negative.

Zelensky opened said he'll return his power and also agrees to a new election as soon as the war ends.

His primary political opponent openly agrees with Zelensky's continued war efforts and gave her full support to his leadership of the country.

I'm a red seal journeyman auto tech, had my own business, certified home builder as well farming and pretty much a workaholic and would easily be worth 5 to 10 million today (farm land alone is worth 3 million now) and I'm now almost bankrupt because the government can't afford to look after my disabled son but I don't think I am as bitter as you seem to be EOD. And I am not blaming other countries for my problems.

Just wanna give you my respect for being a good dad. Like poker we work with what we're dealt in life and try to make the best of it. But having the love of your son is a treasure no amount of money in this world can compare.
