Just checked on mapquest. Driving via Charlotte adds almost 500 miles for a total of 1250 miles one-way. Almost 1000 additional miles both ways. I will try to get the CEO to help with the drive. Never done 2500 miles in one weekend. Are vinu and drex also going?

Drex told me last night he's planning on it. He's going to go down to FL then ride up with some of the southerners.

If you want, LeMans, there'll be Friday night festivities here in DC. SG is in, and maybe some others will arrive early as well?

- David (md), Kevin (ncx), and Alain (alpac) -- if he's coming -- all live within 1.5 hours of me (Kevin within 20 minutes).

- Drex will be in FL, and it's only a 1.5 hour detour for him, and he'll need to stop and rest.

- Rob is in GA, and, again, my house can be an over-night pit stop.

- Eric is just doing this because he's... insane!

If we leave early on Sat. morning (say... 6:00 AM), we should be pulling into JV's meet at about Noonish -- perfect timing. I'll have plenty of coffee and a case of Red Bull with me... you know, just in case some of us are suffering from a "slight headache" or something.

BY THE WAY, for those of you who want to come by the Valencia-Ciardi complex: You get here early enough, and we can maybe go out on a boat ride... hell, even if you get here at night, we may just all pile up on the boat and go to T-Bonez (restaurant by the lake)!
