This is all just too hilarious. Blogger comments from other Alaskans are the best of all. Troopergate? Flip flop on the bridge to nowhere? Street signs with bullet holes through them? Being happy because she is a 'hottie' or was at some point?

I predict it will blow up on McCain. There is just too much fodder here.

Funny thing is this news report photo where they are interviewing her about the pregnancy makes her look pretty pregnant. Oh...I hope the Obama Campaign runs with this story. You should feel silly now. Still time to edit your post.

LabGuy.....you can stop :) Obama supporters, for the most part are following blindly. Remember the earlier threads asking for concrete reasons why someone who wants to vote for Obama, would. The answers were things like: Not Bush/McCain and 'want something different'. You'll have a hard time convincing people with no point for selection why they made the selection. I'm not saying some have serious rationale for selecting Obama, but still, I'd love to see the policy implementation they could quote that states why Obama would be better then McCain. Obama has yet to ever state a how, just a what.

Had an interesting discussion last night, topic: Foreign Policy experience Biden vs Palin. The talking points: If policy experience was essential, Biden has been in office for nearly 30 years and heads up the committee on foreign policy, why are we so piss poorly excepted by other countries if his experience was worth a damn? Good response if you ask me. The more important question should be who do you think these individuals (Obama, McCain) would put in their cabinet?? As the cabinet and Congress make the real changes, not the President.

Again, if Obama could provide one simple how to all his change requests that would be GREAT. Worst case scenario, Obama gets elected, liberals and dems get a warm & fuzzy for about 6 months, then the state of the union will be a pat back session, followed by 3 years of nothing while Clinton plans her revenge. Great near half decade if you ask me :)

As an impartial overseas observer, I feel really sorry for you guys - your two main choices are rubbish - if I had to I wouldn't vote for either McCain or Obama - Best case ever for "none of the above"

I'm not a fan of Bush and never voted for him :)

At least Bush had a plan, a sh__y one but a plan none the less. He wanted to go after Iraq (check), get Saddam (check) and makes some money for Halliburton (check).

That is the misconception, that there are only 2 candidates. The US is force fed that by the media. There are in fact FAR more candidates then 2 running for President this year. Sadly...we tend to be sheep.

Yes - that was why I chose the word "main" in my reply - I have not heard/read a single article mentioning any other contender. As far as the rest of the world's media is concerned there are only two. I am aware there are others, but I couldn't name a single one.
