No way. They wouldn't move because she is so highly anti-abortion, whereas most Hillary supporters are pro-choice.
Whatever "no experience" knocks the McCain camp is making is totally invalidated by her. She was the city council member of a small Alaska town (the size of my town), then became governor of this place. Then became some Alaskan Oil conservation member, where she had to quit because she didn't like the other Alaskan republicans there. Aw, so sad. Now she's gov of AK, where she started out with a 90% approval rating. Nice. Now she is at 64%. Good job.
Also, there was no reason for her to make a point of having a child with DS. If she has a child with special needs, who requires a lot of motherly attention, then why the hell is she running for VP? She should be at home with her child as much as possible, IMO. That doesn't mean she should be jailed inside her home, but IMO I don't think it's the best parenting move.
BTW, Wikipedia lists her residence as Wasilla, AK ("her"town). Last time I checked the capital of Alaska is in Juneau.
Just my $.02

Pretty desperate bashing her for a 64% approval rating

Obama's resume. Community Organizer WTF is that? 1st year Senator who has a whopping 112 work days under his belt. He's been running for president since he took the oath of office.

I think it was a helluva pick, buzz/media-wise on the Lil'AngryMac's part, but none of it, (this prez contest),
will really change the world, your tax return for 2008 or, 2009 and on and on, and on...

I am near OD'd on this politico stuff, and we have 2 1/4 months to go.

Here is what Alaskans have to say about McCain's V.P. pick.

http://mudflats.wordpress.com/2008/0...s-perspective/

“Is this a joke?” That seemed to be the question du jour when my phone started ringing off the hook at 6:45am here in Alaska. I mean, we’re sort of excited that our humble state has gotten some kind of national ‘nod’….but seriously? Sarah Palin for Vice President? Yes, she’s a popular governor. Her all time high approval rating hovered around 90% at one point. But bear in mind that the 90% approval rating came from one of the most conservative, and reddest-of-the-red states out there. And that approval rating came before a series of events that have lead many Alaskans to question the governor’s once pristine image.

There are plenty of more local Alaskan bloggers that have posted on the above linked site.

You mean to say there is an 'Net blog that slams a politician...get right out of town. Try checking out some of the collective backhands she put on oil companies in her area. People in John Edwards home town (prior to hump-gate) had called him an elitist yuppie that was out of touch with America..and those were his neighbors

I know nothing about her (nor do I have an opinion about her qualifications), but since everyone here has an opinion about the woman, I wanted to know what the locals had to say.

I'm glad she is putting a "chin check" on oil companies, but what about this pipeline thru Canada that she supports that would take jobs over the border?
