Exactly, both sides have their extremists and it's up to the centrists to reel everyone in and do what's best for the country.

Here are the facts about this bill:

$500,000,000 cut from Medicare

Social Security fund raided to fund the bill.

17500 new IRS agents are provided in this bill but not 1 new doctor or nurse

10 years of new taxes to provide only 6 years of services

Florida senior citizens keep their existing medicare/medicaid coverage but residents of the other 49 states do not.

Abortion coverage is a huge issue.

Investment income taxed.

The most ridiculous part of this entire discussion is that the Democrats continually say that this bill will eliminate the possibility of insurance companies denying coverage for a pre-existing condition.

That's a great idea. But why does it cost $2.6T in order to create such a law? Just introduce a bill covering that one aspect of insurance coverage.

There, I just solved one part of this problem.

I don't think he has done that much either except lose popularity. My issue isn't what has he done, it is more what has he done that we are going to have to pay for down the road? We are spending money like crazy and those debts will be called on at some point in the future.

The ironic thing?

It's targeted to take effect in 2014, you know, after 3 congressional elections and 1 presidential election.... There's no way it takes effect.

The other ironic thing?

For the last 8 years, the libs/dems screamed about how the Republicans were saddling future generations with debt.

I guess they subscribe to 2 wrongs make a right and feel that it's their turn now, to the tune of $2.6T.

:yikes:

Oh, and btw, the bill covers the children of illegal aliens too. All children should have healthcare, but how can the US afford to care for all of the children of the world? kid is sick? send him/her to the US.
