The ironic thing?
WE can watch the endless debate on CNN. Then we can watch the vote. Then people will argue more and more and nothing will change. Politicians will lie, people will believe them, and people who think they have the facts both for and against the bill have no clue. An amusing laughable show for sure. |

And yes, I am watching the vote right now on CSPAN, and yes, I did watch a majority of the debate on CSPAN this evening, maybe you should have too, it was very educational. |

That's it. It passed. 219 -212. The country gets screwed over 7 votes.
The Democrats own this fiasco lock stock and barrel. November 2010 and 2012 can't come fast enough. |

Sorry about the confusion. Not having a clue wasn't specifically meant for you. It was meant for everyone who thinks they have educated them selves about a reality that will change in very short order. |

The GOP claims that there was a lot of arm twisting and bribing to get the majority of Dems to vote yes. Now, do you honestly think the Boehner and Cantor told the Republicans to vote their conscious? Bull! The poor Louisiana congressman who was initially planning to vote "yes" changed his vote to a "no." When interviewed on CNN, it was pathetic to watch. He keep citing objections which were not even in the bill. He was totally lost (like the answers given by the Tea Party interviewees in the aforementioned video). No pressure? The fact that 34 Dems did not vote for this bill was a positive. It indicated that there were arguments and discussions and they did not feel comfortable voting "yes." On the other hand, no Republican voted "yes" which would indicate none have a brain of their own, or the party threatened to put up a strong candidate to oppose them in November. Several Republicans keep saying "we will be funding abortions." That is absolutely not true and they either had to know it or thought they could fool the audience. Again, pathetic.... The truth is, we should vote the Republicans out of office for not caring about the health and welfare of Americans. They had a chance for 8 years to do something and they did nothing. Tens of thousands of Americans will benefit by this bill and the insurance companies will no longer be able to screw their participants. |
Hey Chili...Put down the Cool Aid for a moment. Do you actually believe your views are that of Mainstream America? Truth is you are part of that FAR Left fringe on the point of lunacy.
The scary part is I bet you would have people like Glenn Beck arrested for his point of view. While you feel he is dangerous I think you're amusing. |
