Welcome to the board, even though it is a year after you first posted!!! you got '07, so it is an E70 model right? because, I think that the RHD E53 were last produced in September of 2006 (cut off date is August, so, maybe yours is still E53?)
Please read up on this forum and any other reliable sources you may find about changing the headunit - E53 is using iBus and the E70 is using MOST for the module communications for onboard electronics and beheading the factory unit may present some problems in the future... Again, welcome onboard!!!
