i drove the 3.0 first and i felt that the power was sufficient and at par to my old 4.4
but when i drove the 4.8, it had that punch...

why not go with a M5? its more refined than the RS4, but you still get the performance you want.
people are saying that the RS4 is a better comparison with the M3 but that only depends what you are...
