Plan is to sell BEFORE the end of the lease.

I posted this as there were some older posts on here and on Bimmerfest that say that you can have a dealer process it (legally) so that BMW transfers...

I am trying to SELL my leased vehicle to a third party. I have several people that want it.

I cannot figure out how to sell it to them without double sales tax. BMW will only release to me...

It is a 12,000 mile/year lease and I am tracking close to that.
Lease expires 5/20/14 and has approx. 26,500 miles remaining.

On my first weekend of ownership, I got 20.5 city, 27 highway. On my drive to work this AM (no highway/lots of stops and starts) I got 23.1.

Should only get better as it breaks in!

Picked up!

Great ride so far!
Trip home...plus a few errands....was entirely 'city' driving and got 20.0 mpg. Not bad for first drive.

Not only was it there, but I think that they have 2 other new and 1 CPO.

Also- I bought it for substantially less than MSRP (and even under invoice if you consider the Eco credit).

Well...decision made. I couldn't bring myself to buy (lease) the car from them. I could have probably gone either way but, in the end, I didn't want to do such a significant financial transaction...
