Valve stems on N62 as preventive maintenance

does it make sense to replace the valve stems on an N62 even before they go bad since it's a question of when rather than if? What mileage should this be done at? Non-dealer cost to replace?

Has anyone done paint correction on their E70? If so what was the cost? My X5 isn't a garage queen, but I would like to get rid of those clear coat scratches, some of them are deeper than others....

Prior owner gave me a set of new headlight lenses for the x5 since he never got around to replacing old ones with them. Was curious what is the cost these days to have them replaced?

Thank you. Fortunately my suspension was looked at a few times last year and everything came out A-ok. Prior to it I think the car was primarily a highway driver in San Rafael and then in Texas.

Yea and (this may be a duplicate post), my whole reason for asking is that I want to lower the X5 with the 2" H&Rs and wasn't sure which route to take with the shocks.
