FWIW, when I had the low fluid and leaky mechatronic sleeve my Trans Failsafe only occurred when the ambient temperature was < 10 C. On warmer days, it didn't happen.

FYI, The power steering fluid was leaking on mine because the o-ring in the reservoir cap was worn out. In fact so worn out and flat that at first I thought it was missing! :rofl::rofl:

Yes, my TransFailSafe would happen after a few shifts, but only a few hundred meters from the house. The problem was worse when the temperature was less than say 5 C.

Good to hear! I hope the 2-1 works itself out. For me, with only 47.5k miles, I probably didn't need to do the solenoids, but it was easy enough to do while the valve body was out.
