This weekend, I replaced both the thrust arms. Is was horrible. It took at least 3 hours to get them both loose. with heating, hammering, swearing and complaining. But now it is done:-)

It started with the cap on the plastic plug...

It started with the cap on the plastic plug broke. And when I drilled it out the hole apparently got bigger. So as a last resort I treaded it out to 12mm and screwed a metal plug with plumbing tape....

Replaced my bushings yesterday. Thanks for all the tips here. The spesial tool is a must I must say, and heating them to get out and soap to get in.

if I understand you are not able to lock you trunk lid. If the trunk lid is down and you close you car with the key, is it still open!? do you hear the lock or no sound at all..

I did replaced mine. The soft close was not working, but if did use the remote it would open. One of the light was also not working. So I just bought the whole "Trunk Lid Grip" from esc, about 100$...
