I too have this problem, just started yesterday...

I too have this problem, just started yesterday and looked at the service menu, and it seems the gps sensor doesn't pick up the location of the car and 30mins later it found it, only it was somewhere...

I updated my car back in Nov 05 with v26 and tried to do my friends and the screen stayed black for 10mins on his X5 and has now gone into default mode. I think my disc is no good.

I think it crashes when you change the scale from 2.5 miles to 150 yard (in otherword big changes in the scale) That is what I have noticed on the last few occasions. No cabling has been touched...

Possible problem with the v26

I have installed the v26 more than a month ago and been using the system daily with no problems except the slow loading of maps when changing scale.

But since Sunday the system now jams totally...
