Yes, I'm referring to the DB25 connector that the older E chassis cars used before Bluetooth and the 54 pin connector became standard. BMW used to sell an adapter but it's long gone NLA....

That's exactly what it is - BMW most likely changed the software on the FRM so that they are full brightness day or night. Mine do the exact same thing. You have no issues :thumbup:
