Look at it this way: $1100 = one months payment on a low optioned X3. It's the hassle factor that is always the worst when these things happen.

I wouldn't go with zero toe in the rear. Toe in provides stability. Stay within factory range on toe in at the rear unless you literally want to chase the tail of the X5...
