Definte lag from dead stop

There is a definite lag from dead stop but have adjusted my driving habits now that I have experienced it and on the whole I love the 35d. Like another poster said the acceleration from 60 to 80/100...

I think reading the manual cover to cover is one thing.... and using the features at the appropriate time is another. The latter only comes if you are open to de-programming yourself and trying out...

Touch pad instead of iDrive controller

I still can't get used to the zoom, its totally counter intuitive. Also wouldn't a touchpad mouse with a scroll area on the side by much easier than the iDrive controller. Most of us a used to that...

I got it from Coast BMW in SLO

I was having the same issues in the bay area, ended up going with Coast BMW in SLO. Got $2700 below MSRP. Should be taking delivery next weekend. Closest to price in bay area was Stevens Creek BMW.
