Yes dealer told me (doesn't mean its true though) that the pano roof glass is slightly tinted and provides some UV protection.

The two reasons why we tinted:

1. Too much heat getting through....

Sounds like your parts person ran a VIN check - I've had this done also to confirm that the car I was paying for had the right options... if it says your Production Date is 2008-04-04 then your car...

I think the brushed aluminium contrasts well with black interior, and gives it a more sporty look IMHO. If I went with a light interior I would go with dark bamboo trim to get that business class...
