Well went into with the x5 today to get checked out.

BMW independent specialist found the problem within an hour.

It transpired whoever changed my aircon filters in the engine bay...

Loose Module Under Seat

Hi Guys,
I've got a mysterious module which as worked its way loose under the passenger seat(RHD) in my e70 x5.

I've had a good look under the seat but can't seem to reseat it where it's supposed...

It does but the USB hub is located in a slightly different place in the e70 and requires slightly different bracketry to house it. But as regards your guide it shows the correct pinouts etc.

I was under the impression that the vehicle uses my mobile phone(connected via bluetooth) for data...

The BMW Assist system is playing up since it can no longer communicate...
