Personally I dont think the X5 has the right shape to look good lowered. The wheel wells are a funny shape that becomes more obvious when its lowered. It just looks broken to me.

Mine did that when I bought it too. Sitting on the dealer lot, maybe they put cheap gas in it, I dont know. I ran some Techron through it, got fresh gas in it and took a couple long road trips...

Check with your dealer, they may offer a discount to BMW CCA members. Most do. Its worth 20% off on most parts at my dealer so well worth the $40 membership fee in this case.

The dealer tells me my nav system needs to be replaced. Its really been acting up and as you know its not the most modern unit anyway. It will be replaced under 3rd party warranty using OEM parts...
