Pulled the codes off OBC tonight (option 14 on the tests) and found a list of hexadecimal codes on another forum which was very helpful.

It's reporting both side senders and a few other unrelated...

Yeah, it's an odd one. I've spent quite a while pawing over the OBC data and on my vehicle (test 15 from memory) at times it displays "ODB - (and then a code)".

Not sure why the doco doesn't...

It's not thrown on the CEL but have not checked for codes as yet.

I don't have a dedicated code reader but the OBC in the dash cluster can deliver OBD codes so will check that.

So I thought my sender unit was stuffed due to inaccurate gauge readings (lh sender was reading full when full (55 ltrs) but getting no lower than 33.8 ltrs regardless of how much fuel was in that...

After much research I finally found an...

After much research I finally found an aftermarket PDC kit which fits perfectly into the E53 mounts.

The SMART Park Reverse Sensor kits have the correct diameter sensors. I got it all fitted up...

My '05 3.0d gets better than 33 Mpg with 80% highway and 25 Mpg with mostly city stop start driving??

Hey guys,

My '05 E53 with sports electric seats has a really annoying little clunk when having come to a stop and then moving off again. Almost like the back rest is 'clunking' back a little.
