The mechanic said he flipped the gear when checking the other day. Could it be that he lied, trying to get the Transfer Case replacement job? Guess I'll have to order a gear and replace it completely...

DSC/BRAKE/ABS
So I got the DSC/BRAKE/ABS light issue. I flipped the gear in the transfer case motor and it didn't solve the issue. Mechanic recommends replacing the transfer case, which is quoted at around $4K.

Turn signal stalk replacement.
I guess my incessant high-beaming of Oregon left lane blockers was too much, and I broke my high beam/signal stalk. Any special trick to replacing it? I can't find an instructional on YouTube.

Just the left. It triggers the "check lowbeams" warning on the dash when I shut the car off, so it sends the fault. I'm betting you're correct on the ballast. I'll just order a new pair and replace...
