I did my fronts yesterday and replaced the wire... same message. Drove it a few miles for the caliper and came home. Turned the car off then back on and it reset itself.

You can "jump" a car without the donor cars engine being on. Just needs a good 12v source and similar CCA to crank. I could be wrong though.
