I would argue that all the range are great to drive in 2010 (well perhaps not the X3...) but there were some real shockers in the past - just look back to the E36 Compact, and things like those slow...

Geez, you need to lighten up a bit. The 1 series can be a fun drivers car and I would be happy for my child to drive one - wouldn't you ?

Tyres...
Although I only lurk here now, I confirm these tyres are quite good. They were the standard fitment on my 08 Volvo XC70 and in a 235/50R18, at 50,000kms are only half worn !

Auto Classic are charging you a $6700 Dealer Delivery Charge for washing and preparing the car for you... Of course they will give you a song and dance about all the work involved in checking the car...

BMW Australia don't seem interested. There are three Mercedes dealers in WA and some other brands like Volvo even have two. It isn't good...
Did you also read that Audi outsold BMW in Perth/WA...

And you are best to check with your Insurers that there is no limit on the cost of a new windscreen if you claim for a replacement unit (one free a year etc.) as these can run into a couple of grand...

I haven't placed a order yet, and if I did it would be a basic white diesel with black trim, keeping the expensive options to a minimum given their poor value (!).

QQ - Alloy Dash Trim and Phone Holder Hole
I have searched but can't see...
1. Anyone have pics of a black interior with alloy dash/door inserts (not wood)
2. Does the phone holder cubby hole next to the iDrive controller fit a 8700...

Well, HBA is optional on the 3.0's. Only a extra $300...but...you need Xenons as well (a extra $2110). Another $860 if you want adaptive lights as well...
All are standard (including washers) on...

Good thinking - I didn't think of that ! - Doh !
Interior pics make it hard to even see a cutout for the glovebox at all !
