Agreed, what exactly was your question OP? The opening I circled in red is 100% the opening to drain the engine oil.

Yes it is present and the only way to drain the oil without completely removing the plate and technically needing to replace all the hardware at a cost of over $100.

That's wrong, the IKE gets the vehicle speed data over the I-Bus from the DSC unit, the left rear wheel speed sensor is the master sensor for speed data.

There is still a separate amplifier on all our cars here. The BM54 just functions as a radio tuner and "audio gateway of sorts"
