If I go pickup, it's got to haul more than a 1/2 ton can. The GMC/Chevy 3/4 and 1 tons are the nicest IMO, quiet, ride is decent for what it is and they have plenty of power. Now with over 900 lb/ft...

I hate the idea of giving up my vehicle - it's been incredible and I love driving it. But at some point I need to have more reliability and the extended warranty is excellent but doesn't cover 100%.

I've not driven the Porsche Cayanne Turbo/S but did drive the MB, previous gen Jeep SRT and the X5M.

No one is steering me away from the BMW at this point and it's still my 1st choice for SUV...

I drove an 1st gen X5M and was impressed, it was similar to my 4.8is except it was faster by a huge factor. I can appreciate a diesel but probably only in a tow vehicle with enough capacity for 15k...
