If your X has orig part, it is long past replacement time, imo.
Could be other parts/stuff, but a new FSR would be my first effort.

Do you not like any of the BMW oe style wheels that could fit your E70, in staggered or square fitment?
Haven't shopped for aftermkt wheels, but I suspect those Beyern and BBS wheels are healthy...

Other key is brand new: lost the mate.
Valet key still works, obviously, and my hideaway plastic key still works....

Our '01 3.0 is a 5 speed, and doesn't have that better 6th ratio, but fwiw my OBC shows 20.3 cumulative, which has only been reset a couple times in 13+ yrs and 99 thou + miles.
