No, we're spoiled. For all our cars, we pay less and get more. This applies regardless of whether it's BMW, Merc, Ford, GM, etc....but American consumers are a finicky bunch so I'm not out to change...

Don't see anything wrong with supporting manufacturing jobs in the US. Sales numbers speak the loudest. Y'all driving X5s have a fair share of US-made parts too.

I drive in the mountains all the time on summer tires in my not-quite-svelte X3 and don't see any unusual wear issues, so certainly the alignment and/or tire pressure inflation pressures are suspect....
