What? I didn't compare the X5 to anything for offroad capabilities. If I needed any hint of offroad capability outside of rain on pavement it wouldn't have even been in the running as an option.

I don't get it.....why go through the time, effort, and cost of trading in the exact same car with 8k mi difference and different color? Lemans blue is nice, but not worth all that IMO.

The 4 door Wrangler offers more interior space...
The 4 door Wrangler offers more interior space than a Forester and gets equivalent gas mileage (compared to the turbo 4). I don't know what the price difference would be, but I'd rather own the Jeep.

For what you've just described the Jeep 4 door Wrangler is an excellent option - just put some decent offroad tires on it so it doesn't look so out of proportion (in stock trim). I say go for it -...
