Doubt it's your tires. I have the same tires/sizes, and they are now at 44k with no issues. Could easily get to 50k, but with winter approaching, will probably replace them in a couple months.

Actually, it is sort of the opposite. As EU emissions regulations become stricter, it is making for much less of an obstacle to market diesels in the US; cars/SUVs no longer have to be engineered...
