Just an update...CEL fixed and no more shudder on shut down after replacing the part. The old BMW part had Pierburg stamped on it! Save about $500 from not going to the dealer!

Hello,

I have a 2011 X5 E70 35D with 115,000 kms. Last week when I shut off the car it vibrated a bit. The CEL came on with 2 fault codes:

Module $07EC
Module $07E8

The CEL was on due to intercooler plausibility and temperature sensor problem. The dot was only coming on when I used the key which was not given to the dealer at the time of service. The dot BTW...

So if the dealer can change the odometer and no flags are raised by the system then CPO/pre-owned IMO would all be tampered with to the last possible odometer that was not recorded on a work...
