Anybody have a good picture of Carbon Leather Interior Trim (4MY)?

I was hoping for actual Carbon (or at least a good copy) as I think I saw in some launch photos.

The X5M I drove had piano black - too dark IMO.

Anyone know if either 'Carbon Fiber' or Aluminum are trim options.. My dealer has no idea.

Thanks

The carbon leather is made to simulate the weave of carbon fiber. Since I'm not a fan of carbon fiber to begin with, didn't real care much for the weave.

Piano black looks gorgeous but everyone says the same thing. It shows dirt horribly and scratches VERY easily.

The Aluminum trim is the "STANDARD" XM trim. So if you don't order the carbon leather, piano, etc. it comes with the Aluminum trim automatically.

wow, that is pretty crappy. No, its REALLY CRAPPY.
Based off those figures, for a X5M that costs $98,025, I would be looking at $1,714.32 a month for a 3yr/15k lease with 5k down. Total lease cost would be $67,166 with a $41,532 depreciation, $15,088 finance charge and a $51,496 residual.

Yeah, my 4.8is actually looks a lot better now. hmmm maybe I won't pull the trigger on the X5M.

Actually, in terms of lease deals, it's not that crappy.

52%-55% residuals is still better than most other car residuals. and a 6.6% interest rate is also not horrible.

No, it's not amazing rates, but they're not god awful either. Audi "S" car rates are a lot worst than that.

Also, don't put all that unnecessary crap on the car.. $6k for ventilated, Merino leather seats.. Are you kidding me? If you don't have it, you'll never miss it.

Also, don't pay MSRP.. Wait until you can find one at a reasonable price over invoice.

In other words, Chop $10k off the purchase price and recognize that any high line car is going to have the same, if not worse, lease rates..

Having said all that, keep your 4.8is.. It's an amazing truck..

But the numbers your posting are highly skewed towards the buyer who is just throwing money at the dealers instead of playing it smart.

Just my .02

Either way it goes... can you name one other production SUV/SAV in the world that pulls close to that? This is one really impressive beast!!!!!!

Here are some pics of carbon leather with Fox red leather. Sakhir orange for X5 M is similar to Fox red. Pics of Jerez black M3. Nice combo.
