all love bud  looks like it will be any day now on the US site...

ive been playing with the "360" for the last hour , i need more money so i can buy each possible version . black with cinnamon seats (for monday), black with Sakhir Orange for ( tuesday )ect... hell i kinda like the white one too and i never like white.

The white looks great, however, I can't get over the fact that 99.9% of white E70 X5 drivers are soccer moms. White is a classic ///M color, however, space grey still looks great.

Given that a dealer already has a X5 ///M for sale, we need to get those financing rates figured out...

If they are quoting you that rate the very specific question I would ask is, "Is that the BUY RATE" or are they adding points onto the BMWFS plan for the finance manager/dealership?

As far as the research I've done, .00270 (about 6.6%) is the highest BMW financial services go.. So your dealership is probably adding gravy to the deal.

Also, no way the residual will be 62% on 15k miles a year. That's unheard of.
I would guess the more reasonable residual would be, 12k miles a year at a residual rate of 55%-58%. But even that number could be wishful.

Though almost always from my history of BMW have seen BMW always keep leasing prices competitive.. Which means, if the residual is real low, than they will lower the money factor to keep the prices attractive.

They don't want X5M's sitting on their lots.. They want them on the street.

You might be right re residual.. if it's lower, then it's going to be +/- $1700 mo at the quoted MF/36/@ $95K.. kind of high.

My dealer is clueless or plays clueless on MF.. 'that's what we charge' is what I get.. dumb. I can't contemplate buying from an organization that is that slippery (or dumb).

Don't know.. I just got quoted $12K off an ML63.. hope my dealer can figure out something that I deem reasonable.

BTW - did you order your X without MF/Residual (assuming you're leasing)?

I think you guys are being overly optomistic on the residuals for the ///Ms. I just came back from the dealer, I'm working on ordering my X6. The residual for the 2009 X6 is 58%, which they believe will carry over to the 2010 MY.
FYI - the residuals for the 2009 ///M models and the new 7 are all 43% and 44%. (3 years, 15K miles)
