and yes to everything else. there are a handful of cosmetic issues but nothing major. the interior it grey grey grey. i think i'm gonna dream up a way to darken it. not the seats but maybe i can find a doner with black interior and swap out the carpet or some various plastic pieces. maybe get some black door cars and the swap the leather to the grey and have a two tone look. it's nice but just way to grey. (again i've always had black interior so maybe it will grow on me.) first just gotta get some miles on her and make sure everythign mechanically is sound. |

If you go aftermarket, don't cheap out. The Dynavin seems to be the way to go, many kind reviews on here. Not many for the cheaper units. |
^This. I would just replace the screen for now. The Dynavin is great but its another 600 bucks. Plus the whole issue with it booting up every time you open the doors would really annoy me when cleaning or working in the car. I don't have factory nav so I still may get one but if I had factory nav I'd update the firmware on the unit to latest version, get updated maps, replace the screen and just add a usb interface for ipod/iphone

Exactly what I did right after I got my X5. The mediabridge from Dice/Audiovox took care of Aux, USB and BT-Audio. |

maybe i'll leave it and just add a small sub. i did it in my last e53 with good results. and i'll also look into updating the firmware / maps. |
You can get the maps on eBay for sub $15, and the software is free to download.
