I am an Admissions Officer at an Ontario university; my alternative career is a formerly-licensed auto mechanic as my father owns his own shop. I work there on weekends, mostly on my own cars, sometimes friends cars and the odd job that my father doesn't want to do and saves for me :S

Had I option of doing it all again I would have likely gone into the Engineering field, likely related to automotive testing/developing/quality assurance and racing development.

I work in Law Enforcement, "I make the people that make you scared, scared."
Don't believe them when they say crime doesn't pay! it does!!! :)
"I may have lied to get this job, but they lied about the job, I figure we're even"

I am an aircraft mechanic for FDX, I've been working for uncle Fred for 15 years. Still enjoy my job, when I'm not wrenching at work I go home and wrench on my fleet at home.

I'm a fed. Contrary to political rhetoric, my co-workers and I provide service to our country in the national security arena. We do things at our site that you can't do anywhere else in the US.

I ensure the mission is accomplished safely in the areas of explosives safety, underground safety, and vehicle safety, amongst other things.

At home I break stuff while I'm trying to fix other stuff.
