Ok I worked on the final howto on this install.

Here is what I have so far let me know what you think. Its not done this is just how much I got done tonight. Its two pages so far. I divided up as unboxing then the actual install.

I just finished the normal install part for the head unit on that link in the previous post.

I will add the backup camera install and the rest as I get time this week.

So far still no obc interface in the mail. I had hoped it would arrive today. No tracking emails either......


I did order the android interface for the stereo so my valentine 1 will show all of its info on the stereo now which should be cool.

I have successfully coded out the bloody steering wheel moving every time I crank the x5 or turn it off. Which isn't technically stereo related but it rocks so much its worth mentioning.

If I don't get the interface next week or at least a "hey we know you ordered but it hasn't shipped yet" email I'm going to do two things. One is build my own out of one of my android I/o boards like I have on my e46 and two is sell it for 1/2 price of all these slow shipping wont ship and wont bother contacting the customer folks. This is beginning to get on my nerves and I have a bunch of patience normally for this stuff but the lack of shipping updates of any kind is what I can't see there being an excuse for. Plus unlike them I host companies on my web hosting biz that build electronics to order :)

So Im still in a holding pattern waiting on parts.

Resler only ships on Mondays. You should have received an email from him telling you what day it would ship. He doesn't send tracking. Took a little over a week to get from Germany to the US. He ships it standard mail. My email came from: [email protected]

Nope didn't get one from him. The only email I got was from paypal.

Order was placed on the 9/26/2017 so 10/2/2017 would be the ship date based on the following Monday. That's why I figured it should get here today. No info from him at all.

I'll wait thru next week at least.

I ordered mine last night around 7:30 pm est & received my email regarding when it would ship at 4:37 am this morning. I would check your spam folder or send him a message. I additionally ordered my head unit as well. Thank you for sharing all this!

Your welcome. I own my own mail server and there isn't anything in the logs of where he sent anything. I will email tomorrow and see if I can get an update.

Where did you mount the HDTV antenna?
