Hmm reading up on this I can see it really disrupting the norm there.

For many workers, Golden Week and Chinese New Year are the only two times that its possible to take extended holidays. As a result, domestic travel skyrockets with locals heading home to see family or go traveling. There are frequent reports of crowded trains and congestion with 350 million traveling on the roads — on the weekend a two-hour trip from Guangzhou to Shenzhen, the closest mainland city to Hong Kong, was taking up to 10 hours.

Took us 14 hours to drive from Carbondale IL back to Shitcago after the Solar Eclipse in August. The trip is normally 4 hours.

I received an email response this morning. Looks like operations are beginning to return to normal over there. The email stated mine would ship in 1-2 days.

Cool !

It arrived in 3 days after they shipped on mine.

When you install an aftermarket radio you lose the ability normally to reset the mpg and such. This is to solve that.

Ok, well I am patiently awaiting your IBUS add-on install, as these stock features are needed for me.

Thanks!

I either a: waiting on the wire to get here Monday or b: to get bored enough this weekend to rip wire out of something else :)

B: has very high odds.

No Best Buy, stereo stores, or radio shack type places near you?

We have a mcdonalds and hardees (quite proud of those).

Beyond that there is the hardware store. They mainly carry bailing wire and heavy gauge stuff. I need something like 18 gauge for this since it needs to bend so much to get to the fuse box from where the stereo is.

I order everything off amazon so its not to bad being rural just a delay having to wait for stuff to get here.

Wire gets here Monday but I may rob something off of another project since I only need 2 feet of wire.

I just finished removing the dash airbag cover to see if it was a good place for the gps antenna. It wasn't so I got that put back together.

I'm toying with another method of running the wires for the ibus module which would allow me to use some larger gauge wire I have on hand. So I may get that done this weekend. If I don't I will have the wire I ordered by Monday.
